Carbonara Trattoria opened in September 2011 and is located in the Dunwoody Village Shopping Center in Dunwoody, GA. Owner, Rafik Cressaty is the man responsible for creating this beloved local favorite and with the help from his son and his veteran staff, Carbonara Trattoria offers an amazing fine dining experience that is hard to find. With the help from his youngest son, Patrick and Brian Keane, who has been doing ALL the behind the scene work on a daily basis since its inception.
Since opening 12 years ago, Chef Cesareo has been serving both quality interpretations of classic dishes and daring new ventures into the uncharted territories of food. His natural ability to create unbelievably delicious sauces and Italian dishes is no doubt a huge part of the equation that makes Carbonara Trattoria one of Atlanta’s best Italian Restaurants.
Carbonara Trattoria’s interior, designed by Cressaty’s late wife, Patty Cressaty, truly captures the rustic sensibilities of “Old Italy” and captures the Tuscan feel while setting the perfect ambiance for an amazing and memorable dining experience, The low lit dining room provides an organic and authentic setting, while giving customer’s an enormous sense of comfort at the same time.
